Design your Recycled PVC card
This is drawn at the size the object really is, from the same file the laser cuts — what you see here is what you get handed back. It reads 5–8 cm; change the material and that number changes with it, in front of you.
The dashed white line is the cutting tolerance; the copper band is the antenna, where a solid mark stops the card reading.
Etched in capitals. It is the line people read from across a table.
What you do, not your grade. It is re-assignable later without a reprint.
Leave it out and the card belongs to you rather than to a job.
Four-colour print under a laminate. A flat, single-colour version cuts best — under 200 KB, and a PNG is scaled down for you.
For the phone in front of you that will not do NFC. Every card gets its own code — the pattern is filled in when the tag is encoded, so the preview shows the reserved area at true size.
A soft laminate over the print. It does not glare back at a phone camera.
readyEverything clears the trim edge and the antenna.
